I have a feeling this question may generate more heat than light; but here goes:

How can I repair a "hot stamp"?

I have a few chips that have some, or all, of the "gold" missing. These chips are mine and I have no intention of selling them. I just would like to be able to see the detail of the chips.

Any ideas?
