NEVADA FOR 1 WEEK!

We just returned from 1 week in Nevada (PARADISE). We visited the following casinos:

Aladdin
BigHorn
Excalibur
Hacienda

We played poker at:
Flamingo…
Palms…
Binions…
Wynn…first time ever, no limit game, Chris went all in real early eventually got busted. I went all in with trip 10’s and a QUEEN kicker, never figured the other player for the 4th 10 but his kicker…a JACK! $220.00 in the pot! YEAH!
Silverton…dealt pocket ACES on 1st hand, flop…pair of 4’s and ACE!

NOTHING LIKE LIVE POKER!

We collected chips from all over; visited 2 pawnshops, numerous antique stores where we got lucky, saw the closed Westward Ho and Bourbon Street. Went to the Southern Nevada Chip Club meeting, great to see everybody including an old friend from over 40 years ago at my high school. Hi Sam! Saw Gene at the Palms, lookin’ good GENE!

Harrah’s changes at Flamingo, MASSIVE and IMMEDIATE, had to get TOTAL REWARDS card. Platinum and Silver Valet parking lanes. Wasn’t in favor of the acquisition, like the idea even less now!

Got home to 10” of snow and 25 degrees. YUCK! Love the hobby, need a week to figure out just what we bought!
