It is a Beta build that I have had running on all my machines for around a year now with no "malware" problems. The nice thing about it is it won't let spyware install on your computer to begin with if you happen to inadvertently click on a link you shouldn't; similar to Anti-
virus software.
I do computer repair on the side and 95% of what I do is blowing out hard drives and re-installing OSes due to Malware problems. Most of the stuff I come across can't be touched by Spybot, Adaware, and the like. So the best thing to do is not let the stuff get installed to begin with.
As for viruses, use a two pronged approach with a AV program that resides on your computer interspersed with occasionally running a web based AV scanner such as Trend HouseCall.
I have used Norton Internet Security and in my opinion (for what it's worth) it is "bloatware"; uses a lot of system resources to run.
Cheers!
