The reason I ask is that I was told that if you limit users from ‘installing’ anything XP is pretty bullet proof when in user mode because you or a virus cannot install itself. When you want to install something you simply log on as administrator. I run my machine (and 3 comp network) like that and have had no problems. I do have a hardware firewall and use an antivirus on the system. I turned IS down to its most liberal settings as it was getting to be a pain with bogus alerts.
