have a semi pro poker player freind that has lived in Vegas for numerous years. She recently sent me a package of things she wished to give to me for whatever reason. Many of the things in there were old chips. I'll list them for you here and give you a brief description of what she told me. Then, maybe you can advise what they're worth, or where to go to get them appraised, or if you'd be interested in them you can tell me that too. Here we go:

First is some memorabilia:

1. Binion's Horeshoe Hall of Fame Poker Tournament Cap.

2. Binion's Horeshoe Hall of Fame Poker Classic Mug. Was new 20 years ago and according to her they won't be made again.

The Chips:

1. $5 Binion's wsop chip with Russ Ha! milton's picture. Apparently after Becky took over from Jack Binion, she threw all these chips away and took Russ's picture off the wall, etc etc.

2. $1 Rio Chip..

3. $1 Horshoe Club ..no longer used

4. $10 Seniors V Commemorative Chip w/ Johnny Hale picutred on the front. Marked #49 on the back. Dated 1998

5.Two $1 25th Anniversary Plaza Chips. One has Jackie Gaughan's picture...the other of John Jones.

6. Pure ivory...$5 chip. The story behind this is that this chip was found in a wall when a buildiing was torn down. Apparently this ivory chip was used by the Chinese players iin Gray's Harbor, Washington St in the early 1900's.
