I've never paid more than $250 for a single chip and I absolutely love this hobby.

Put me on the junk collector list, and happy.

The most I ever paid for a chip was trying to win a free one at the crap table or worse playing roulette.

I could be wrong, but I'd say that the most I paid for a single chip is under $100.

(disclaimer, yes I did buy a box of chips for over $2000 once and was happy to almost break even re-selling them)

I might add that the most I ever sold a chip for, was probably right in the $100 range as well.

You're never going to find another hobby with a better group of people. ...why let the actions of others dictate your ability to have fun with a hobby?
