The example you cited would be more comparable if the casino put shill players at the table and in fact recommended to the dupe that players should hit to 21 regardless of how close to 21 they are. In that case I would also feel bad for the dopey 21 player who relied on others. Granted, he should learn how to play the game but I would feel that the casino took advantage of his stupity.
