However, I can say that the ivory seller I referred to higher up the board that uses shill bidders will never get a bid from me or several other (deep pocket) collectors. In the long run I think this particular seller has hurt himself through his use of shill bidders.
Then again, I guess there are enough uneducated buyers out there to make shill bidding work.
