Today I got my first jeton from the casino in Zoppot.
Zoppot is near Danzig and belongs to Poland now.
Before WWI it was german, and became independent in 1919.
In this year the Casino Zoppot opend his door. And it was the only Casino in the "german area" for many years.
From 1872 to 1933 casinos were forbidden in Germany. There was only the casino Zoppot because of his independent status.
The Casino is closed for many, many years now. I'm sorry, but I do not know the year.
Jetons from Zoppot are really hard to find and very rare. I am so happy that I have this one now!
