This thread is one of the best I have read in some time. Good points on both sides and no character assassination.

But, I can't believe anyone would be pleased if they found out they paid more than they would have due to a shill bidder being involved. It is human nature to feel you have been taken advantage of and you have. What you were willing to pay is not the point. It is the fact that you paid more than you should have and that is all that matters.
