Ok, just looked up these rules and it ain't the same game from what I call "Mississippi". Maybe I should copyright this as "Stu duhhh" or something.. in any case..
Many games (around here) are now playing traditional 7 card stud in a hold em fashion. In other words, two down, flop 3 up to each player, followed by two rounds of 1 up to each player.
This puts a lot of cards on the table and makes it very challenging. Position isn't so important (as it changes) and a good memory can be important.
Will it ever appear in a casino? Folks I've played with like it much better than traditional stud or omaha so who knows?
