Pacific Bell got swallowed by SBC, which only recently closed on the deal to buy AT&T (which is FUNNY in and of itself, because SBC was spun-off from AT&T was divested in the big anti-trust case that had them spin-off all the baby-bells).

SO, the park was named SBC Park for the past year or two, but is being changed to: AT&T Park (SBC is currently dropping their name after the merger, and taking on the AT&T name, with a slightly changed logo):
