John; The club does not "control slabbers". The club has prohibited slabs from the club's conventions and exhibit areas. Club members are free to purchase slabbed chips with no admonition from the club. The only reason that chip slabbing has not taken hold in this club is because of the education efforts that some individuals have engaged in that has discouraged our members from purchasing slabs. That's about all anyone can expect from similar cautions that are posted on this message board.

I don't think that the club is about to take a position on fantasy chips which many chip collectors are fond of collecting ... knowing what they are. I just hope that a few of our members don't get carried away with re-sale pitches that are designed to misrepresent or mislead what they are selling. In that event; I think that those specific Code Of Ethics breaches should be brought to the attention of club officials.
