Sutter’s Club was founded in 1929 by Joseph Sutter, Sr. at Old Aviso Road and Highway 237 in Alviso, California. Through those early years the Club was a very popular entertainment spot in the South Bay Area. When Mr. Sutter died in 1947, Joseph Sutter, Jr. took over the business and added 5 poker tables in 1961
