I can't access ebay from my puter (work doesn't like it). While I understand you perspective, I respectfully disagree with the buyer beware philosophy.
When I got serious about my collecting, I had no way of knowingthat what should have been a $500 chip. So a cool looking older chip for $20 would have not seemed unreasonable.
It wasn't until I attended my first convention, and realized that my collection was not a major collection, that I began to understand that there is a broader chipping world.
There are people who want to take advantage, and yes sometimes they take advantage of greed. But they also take advantage of naivete, fear, ignorance, and even enthusiasm. Sadly I see it everyday.
Any person can have whatever they want, but when a person who knows, or should know, that they are passing off nothing as something, then their should be consequences to the seller, and protections for the buyer. Yes I do hold the buyer to the higher knowledge (call it a professional hangup).
I wish you the best on your sales, and my comments are made in general, certainly not directed at you or any other person.
