About 1985 we were at the Sundance (now Fitsgrerald's ) in downtown Vegas and I was watching my friends play Red Dog. The dealer was brand new and clueless and once she paid off on a tie instead of the normal "win only if you are in between". My friends were drunk enough that they didn't catch it. A minute later it happened again....then a few minutes later she paid a losing hand. I told my friends to watch what was going on closely and soon they had big money out. She made a mistake every couple minutes and it was more than enough to make it a positive play.
It wasn't as good as that story of the two guys that were allowed to spin the wheel themselves but it was great fun to be in the right place at the right time.
