To quote Gene from a previous post.
"Dennis once told me, the 1st records he had were for 1936.
TR King sold chips pre 1936. I think 1936 might have been when they started making their own Lcrowns. They were originally made at USPC and hot stamped at TRK."
Hope this helps a bit. I know the feeling well, having a chip and not being able to get an attribution for it from Dennis.
