I agree with you, I would rather not see any negativity on the Chipboard. But I also want to be aware of negative situations that could effect me and the Chipboard is great way to spread useful information to the casino collecting community.

The Chipboard is completely independent of the CCGTCC. The Chipboard is run privately and provides a way for casino collectors to communicate. You do not have to be a member of the CCGTCC to use the Chipboard. You do have to follow Chipboard rules for civility and other content restrictions, for example - no SPAM advertising.

Giving us the freedom to communicate, the Chipboard also gives us with the freedom to post negative information. Sometimes the negative information is posted in order to help others, like when there is a bad seller or buyer on eBay. You just have to take the bad along with the good. If you don't want to get involved with the bad, then just don't read those posts.

All in all, I think the Chipboard is great just the way it is. There is always going to be some negativity in anything you do, we just have to get used to it.
