When they still had the $1 Brass Cores. I used to go to the cage and buy racks at a time then turn around and sell them on feeBay as home sets. Never had a problem selling them seems like players wanted a set of chips with a good hefty feel to them. Only problem was, it cost a fortune to ship them. They were VERY heavy, and guest players just couldn't resist taking one or two home with them after the kitchen table game was over Got alot of requests for 4 or 5 to replace the ones that got misplaced
