Only six weeks until we board the Carnival Legend in Ft. Lauderdale and head off for the western Caribbean.

I have my passport (no nervous embarking and disembarking this time), plane tickets, and the balcony cabin is paid for.

What I don't have is a room reservation in Ft. Lauderdale for Tuesday the 3rd. Checking the usual travel websites, and the chain specific websites that I am registered with as a frequent visitor, it is obvious that there no cheap rooms in Ft. Lauderdale on a Tuesday night right after new years. ...there is no Days Inn on the planet worth $199 for one Tuesday night stay!

Most of us will have to fly in on the 3rd, and that one night stay is a given requisite. I'd like to know where anyone else going on the cruise might be staying so we might coordinate that part of this journey too. It doesn't hurt when a hotel knows how many people will need to use their shuttle, and when.
