...sometimes things do work out.
I had been forewarned by Spragg that I should not be in Vegas at the same time as he....so off to the internet I went.
Seems America West is having a mileage redemption sale (any of you guys have miles, now's the time...); instead of 25,000 each way, they had certain dates that were on sale for 12,500. So booked 10-13 Dec for 25k mileage total...free flight plus $5 Sept 11th surcharge (I'm dangerous).
Then called Palace Station...3 nites for free. (said they only had non-smoking available, but operator was a smoker too, so we'll see what happens. (I said: "I don't need the tower room, just give me the trailer park with an ashtray and I'll be happy LOL).
So- total cost of the trip= $5
Had to share this one...sometimes my little black cloud vanishes & it seems to be away right now.
