Congrats on your purchase John! I know Darrell would be thrilled to buy a house with riding lawn mowers left behind....sounds like time for a "Red Neck Yard Sale"....you know someone will want the mowers and junk auto/boat parts left behind! Recycle the beer cans and buy a gallon of Spectracide yard pest spray, spray for fleas, then mow and see how many more cars you find! Sounds like besides new carpet, paint and yard work, it should all work out well for you! Happy sweat equity!
P.S. - I know what you mean about "how some people live", Darrell and I have been looking at $500,000 homes around our area, and a few have smelled just as bad as any garbage dump! Just goes to show that even if you have money, you can still live like a pig! Amazing!
