All right, now that Steve has let the cat out of the bag (just kidding Steve), I'll give a little more info.
As Steve mentioned, I was not going to publish the 4th edition at all. I had come to the conclusion late last year to hang up the price guide idea and take a more casual interest in the hobby. There had been so many changes in my life in the last year that I was really just getting burned out of being pulled in so many directions. I still collected chips, but only hap-hazardly. I would purchase chips and throw them in a box, without cateloging and sometimes without even opening the envelope.
I was urged on by a few people and slowing started coming to my senses. I discovered that I really missed the hobby and, starting with last summer's convention, started getting involved again.
So, I found what was left of the forgotten price guide, made a few changes, some adds and made it look presentable. Seeing that I was upset last time with the quality of the pictures, I am printing it myself this year. As a result, the printing is very slow going. I sat down one night and managed to print 6 copies - yes, 6 copies.
Those 6 guides were sent to people who have been my crutch over the past several years, and the list continues. I still need to get one to friends like Bender, Lighterman, Herz, Knapps, Goodrich and many others. I'm hoping to one night have a printing/binding marathon and have a few extras ready for those wanting it.
I'll let TheChipBoard know when I'm able to print some extras. Thanks for your patience.
