As you probably know Don, the painted edges were used to denote where the Las Vegas chips were distributed. The story I heard was the black edges were give out at a particular parking garage. Most of the Reno free plays went to bus patrons I'd imagine and perhaps different bus programs in Tahoe rated different markings. Or maybe not.
