How many chips are needed to run a tournament the size of the World Series? The main event had 5600+ people in 3 flights. Were each players chips bagged at the end of each day or were they just recorded so the chips could be reused? I wonder if Harrah's intentionally purchased WAY more chips than needed for this years event, in anticipation of the larger fields in the future.

Any ideas?
