If I recall correctly a few years back an issue arose over Strip clubs which had slot machines and video poker charging a cover charge. This was a violation of the gaming regulations. I believe a compromise was worked out with gaming that the strip club agreed to allow a person who said they were going to play the machines to enter without paying a cover charge, but the patron could be removed as soon as they stopped playing the machines.
