Sands Regent is the Parent Company, owns a whole group of other entities/properties that include Rail City Casino/Sparks, NV., Gold Ranch Casino/Verdi, NV., Several Small Casinos (Just Purchased) in Dayton, NV. and of course the Sands Regency Hotel/Casino in Reno. The Name “Sands” is what the Sands Regency used to be known as, (and if I’m not mistaken) the Sands Casino in Las Vegas complained and made them change the name.
