Yes. Before a new casino can open in NJ they must do a couple of dry runs. These are called "Fun Nite". The Casino Control Commission evaluates the casino and their employees with play money. If I recall correctly, for each dollar you could buy $20 in "Bunny Money". With the "Bunny Money" you would buy "Fun Nite" chips to play. The money collected was donated to charity. Until Borgata opened, these "Fun Nites" were open to the public.
