I can help you out a little. The most important feature, other than the condition, is the mint mark, which on most us coins is on the reverse side. May need your magnifying glass to be able to see it. Not all coins have mint marks, but those that do, depending upon the denominaiton and the date, they can be D, S, CC, etc.
