Yes, I did know that Stevie Winwood was the front man for Spencer Davis. I have to agree that the Beatles had some great songs, although I didnt like them when they first appeared in the U.S., but they grew on me...Ha.

They sure were the start of the British Invasion which brought so many great groups to our ears - but my love for music is based in the "oldies" from the 50's, especially the many groups like the Flamingos, the Dubs, the Platters, Turbans, Frankie Lymon & The Teenagers, etc. Yeah - I guess my age is showing...lol.
