Way back when I was a young Boy Scout (1953/54)We were collecting door to door for the "Jimmy Fund" (Red Sox & Ted Williams charity). When we were through for the day we had to turn in our cans of $$$$ at the local police station (spent a few nights there later in my life) & what the hell do you think was the biggest thing that could happen to a 10 year old?? Ted Williams was there & gave each of us boy scouts a autographed baseball. Well as a city kid in Boston, we never had any BB unless it was taped. So what do you think we all did with these BB'S?
