After 44 years, finally a trip to the World Series.

Year after year I watch other teams celebrate, jump for joy and pop the champaigne. While I could imagine how they feel, I would never truly relate. That is until yesterday when the Astros (And My) dream came true.

Sure we have won the division a few times and have won some key games, but nothing like this.

What a truly magical year for the Stros.

After last year falling just one game short of the series. The losing our biggest bats with Beltran & Kent Gone. With Bagwell out for the season, With Berkman out for the first 6 weeks. We were down for the count with a record of 15-30 to start the season. Most of us thought any chance of a 500 season were long gone..... That is except for Phil Garner.

After roaring back to 500 by the All Star Break, the Astros were back in the thing. We took the Wildcard by just one game. Dominated the Braves and the Cardinals, and now we have finally made it to the Baseball Promised Land.

Last night after the game Acadamy Sporting Goods across Houston opened up to sell Championship Shirts and Hats. Since I live close to one we decided to quickly run down and grab one. Soon we found 2000+ people in line and a huge Astros Party. I stood in line for 3 hours last night till nearly 2 AM to get my Shirts and had a blast every minute of the wait. I have never seen Houstonions so excited and was never so proud to be a part of it.

I have been walking on clouds for the past 22 hours and couldnt be happier.

Win or lose in the series, I still have had the time of my life this year.

All I can says is:

"I LOVE THIS GAME"
