Our local charity has spent much of the past 72 hours raising funds for this latest disaster.
This money will go towards providing the tents, clothing and food packages which you may have seen on international news are being packed on a cargo plane to head for the affected area tomorrow.

The next major problem, as always, will be reaching those in more remote isolated places, and as the days pass, the health risks become greater.

As many of you know a large proportion of the worlds vaccines are manufactured only several miles from me and yet again those manufacturers have pledged to supply 'at cost' and in addition match local cash donations with their own. We are fortunate that these companies hold up to 4 years regular stocks of such vaccines at any time.

Many local doctors and surgeons originate from and have relatives in the affected areas. A number of these will be travelling to Kashmir with drugs and supplies this Thursday on a flight 'donated' by British Airways.

I aim to run a number of sales on this board over the next 36 hours, with varying proportions of the proceeds (which will be clearly indicated) going directly towards the purchase of vaccines as indicated above.

I dont have the time to conduct these in 'auction' fashion so these will be straightforward sales and I apologise for those of you who have seen the material I will be offering posted here before.
