One of the chips I brought back from Costa Rica has inlaid insets. Most chips have painted inserts or inserts that are a part of the chip. i.e Chipco.

The $5 chips from the Gran Hotel in Costa Rica have
red,white and yellow inserts that do not appear to be a part of the actual chip but appear to be molded and inserted into the actual chip.

I wish I could scan chips so you could see what I am talking about. Does this make any sense to anyone?
