Agoura Hills. Do you know if they are ok?

Forty years ago I spend four fire seasons with the Del Rosa Hot Shots of the US Forest Service near San Bernardino. I still have my brush hook and can come down to help if needed.
The stuff they're dropping on the fire is...
if clear it's water,
if yellowish it used to be called borate,
if reddish it used to be called betonite(sp?).
