Thomas Ferguson, Director for the Bureau of Engraving and Printing, holds a new $10 note during an interview after its unveiling on Ellis Island, NY, on Wednesday. The most noticeable difference in the newly designed bill is the addition of subtle background colors of orange, yellow and red. Additionally, the words "We The People" is printed in red next to the portrait of first Treasury Secretary Alexander Hamilton. The note is expected to go into circulation in early 2006.
