In today's Telegraph in good old Alton IL, where Argosy's head offices are located, there was a story (link below) about Penn National Gaming Inc. Buying Argosy. According to the story, the deal is going to be finalized sometime this week. Only there's a new kicker. Once Penn acquires Argosy, they plan to sell Argosy Alton and the Empress Casino in Joilet IL.

In chip news, the Argosy Alton, though having changed it's name from Alton Belle, still have not received new "Argosy" chips.
