As I write this hurricane Rita is bearing down on us an intensifying in strength. We are the highest point in our addition and protected by thick stands of trees. We have begun stocking up on beer, chips, and junk-food also making sure we have ample working flashlights as we expect the power to be out when we begin looting local businesses. We took the opportunity to gas up the cars in the event other looters beat us to the good stuff and we are forced to find Wal-Marts in neighboring towns. We have not taken a bath for a few days to help us 'blend' in. If we are to be wiped out. look for us in shelters, we will be the ones complaining about the cold food, lack of government assistance!" All in all I think we are as ready for Rita as we can be! Where is Jesse Jackson when you need him???
