go to post a new message (or reply to an exisiting message) the "Post Response" or "Post Message" form already has your name and email address filled in from the last time you used it?
Also, if you linked to an image or other URL, then those are also left in the boxes. It is the "cookie" that allows this to happen.
A cookie is a bit of electronic code left on your machine, by Greg's site (other sites as well) that is used to recognize you the next time you are at his site (or the other sites).
You can set your machine to reject cookies, accept cookies or automatically ask you if you want to accept or reject a cookie when one is sent.
If you do eBay, it is the cookie that allows eBay to assume who you are when you go to their site. You may have noticed in the upper left-hand corner of the screen it says something to the effect of: "Hello, (your eBay name)". Not you? Sign in".
Cookies allow this to happen.
Cookies can be OK, but not always.
I hope this helps.
