I bid $900.00 once for an ashtray and meant to bid $9.00 Another bidder came along and put a bid of $100.00 pushing my bid up.

I emailed the seller and he did let me off the hook but said he didn't believe me. I felt so bad about the whole situation.

I emailed the other bidder and he said he thought it might go to 35 so he just put in 100 because it was the last minute .

I have messed up a few times on ebay and sellers have canceled my bid for me. Most are great if you catch them before the auction goes off.
