In the 1940 Covington city directory the joint at 4400 Winston Ave. is listed as Orr's Rural Rendezvous. I guess they thought that was a slick use of the ORR initials. Orr had gambling at his place down in Covington and there is no doubt in my mind they had games at 4400. However, It seems more likely that chips at the 4400 Winston address would have had an "O" or an"ORR" or a 4400 and not just a "44". More likely than not the same dot mold Orr's Cafe chips could have been used out there.
