Just heard about this on CNBC that Las Vegas is getting new chips for the casino's.
These chips are called RFID. They have a clear see through mold and a color diagram / picture etc. in the center. (computerized)

These chips help the casino's to monitor the players habits, and cuts down on cheating.

These chips will be more costly to the casino.
It was not said which casino's will start using them, or when they will start.

I'm wondering what this will do to the chip collecting world, since they will not be allowed to leave the casino's.
