() I'm not defending the actions of the alleged shill. I'm merely saying that the bidder (you in this case) won the item at a price that you were willing to pay. It's not like you were forced into paying more than you wanted to.
How do you know the $9.99 underbid bid was from a shill? There mere fact that you had to pay $5 more than your original bid proves absolutely nothing.
