Rich; I agree ... to a degree. We're only looking a examples of shills with respect to our particular field of collecting. When applied to the much larger aspect of ebay in general, there are thousands and thousands of cases of shill bidding in hundreds if not thousands of ebay categories.

My only point is that YES, there are nefarious people in the world. We as chip collectors can only protect our own a$$ses by bidding what we are comfortable with and the shills are always going to be with us.
