to Las Vegas. I managed to get bumped from my scheduled flight (Southwest) and now have a $200 credit towards another flight.

But the point of this post is to show an advertising chip I got on Saturday while attending a Convention with my wife, Pam. Pam is in the school supply business and she had an invitation from Ohio Art (of Etch-A-Sketch fame) to visit them at the Convention. So, on Saturday we went.

At the registration desk we were given the below scanned advertising chip, which was intended to be used as a chit for free spin on a Big Bertha type slot machine.

Of course our chips never made it there!

As I walked around the Convention I marveled at how lucky I was to stumble upon these advertising chips and what were the odds that another chip collector would be at this Convention!

About that time Pam and I bump into Tyrus Mulkey, who is allowing me the extra travel day back to Tucson to post a scan of the chip.
