If you are willing to pay say $50 for a chip ... and you had to bid $45 to get one ... even if a hypothetical shill bidder is involved ... you got the chip for what you were willing to pay. If the shill bidder went up to $55, I would imagine that you would not bid any further.

Plus, as I indicated in an earlier post ... another chip at that level will in all probablity come along at a later date and you may even get the bargain you were looking for originally. Just be patient.
