Louisiana receives more aid from the Feds
than any other state. Money was given, but diverted to other projects in the state.
I'm waiting for things to dry out and find some real investigations into who really did or didn't do what.
Here's what came to mind tonight. Wallmart says they offered truck loads of goods and water, but were turned away, bu FEMA. FEMA and the Red Cross say the had emergency supplies, water, sanitation Etc. at the convention center and super dome, but the state and city turned them away.
For a place that seems to have shortages and troubles of all kinds, there is an abundant supply of fertilizer and wool!
If all the people diverting responsibility had worked on diverting water, we would not be writing these messages.
I can't see how anyone can be blamed for a natural disaster, after the fact, except the people who were responsible for protecting, planning and evacuation before it happened.
It looks like that list starts with individual private citizens and goes all the way up to the top of our government, Congress, the House and the President.
Blame everyone or blame Mother Nature, it won't change the situation as it is now. Blame does nothing.
