I believe the Tangiers You show have been counterfeited. I can't prove it but IMO too many have showed up. I have seen a different color $500 than the one I have. Why a different $500?
I have the $1, $5, $25, $100, and $500.
I got them from a pretty good friend at the time. He led me to believe he had all of them and it was not a great number of chips. There was no reason for deception as he was giving them to me free, NO charge.

The blanks are one of the easiest to get. They come out of the orient and one manufacturer told me he could not come close to making them at the price he could import them at.

I know mine came from where I was told but could not prove it if I ever wanted to sell them.

The brass cores are a nice home game chip but it was bound to happen that someone would get confused with them. Sooner or later they will show up on ebay as actual "Movie Props."
