My spin - your start was $2.50...he/she hit it on the first bid...guessing that they rethought and rebid higher, e.g. $5 - and because it's from the same bidder it will still show as $2.50 winning bid...bidder may be going out of town, don't want to watch the listing, really wants the chip badly, who knows?
