I saw your post yesterday afternoon...I didn't respond then partly because I was busy and partly because I wanted to think....when I first read your post (actually the subject line) I thought you were trying to excuse this behavior with "boys will be boys" and that you can't really hold some men responsible for their behavior because they, well..don't know any better. I've heard that kind of excuse before...and now that I read your post again, I see that's not what you're saying...and I understand what you mean.

Mark Englebretson is the "gentleman" who wants to know if I'm a slut. In fact, his email read,
"Is she a cheap slut or what…just curious…do not mean to offend…"

The part that gets me about what he said is the last part...the "do not mean to offend" part...he's apologizing to the recipient for possibly offending HIM with the question! Not that it might be offensive to me, but to him!!

I've never met Mark...but I'm glad to know what kind of person he is....who knows, I might have accidentally traded chips with him...or bought one of his ashtrays....

Although his question hurt my feelings deeply, I'm much better off knowing what kind of person he is....

So yes Gene, "boys will be boys" ....but there is another saying that applies to this whole situation too....
"Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned"

Mark, if you're reading this...you'd better do everything you can to avoid this cheap slut...
